- President Obama says one thing and he does the exact opposite! I am retired ex-military. He said the troops coming home will have either old jobs back or find a spot in government to work. There are NO Jobs to go back to.

- Wow, this is bad stuff! I would not say that I would wish anyone dead. But definately "out" of the White House. My prayer is that: the right person will step up and lead this great Nation back to prosperity and new jobs for those already have been out of work for far too long.

- I think I should mention that what was said up above was not a racial comment! Most African Americans here in Louisiana and other cities across the Nation eat these foods for holidays and other family gatherings.

- Does that mean more people will be putting bullet holes in the White House?? LOL. I find it hard to believe that there aren't more of them by now!! Some of these political articles on newsvine make me crack up at how stupid OUR government is.

- I wouldn't mind paying the 15 cent tax because here it is worth it to be able to use the trees past the holidays for our further purposes. I read down futher in the comments about asupposed grower only making a dollar profit on each tree! That is pure garbage. At $5.00 a foot for a 6ft tree.

- Hey MountainMike, Down here in Louisiana our trees don't go to the dump! They are picked up and used to stop erosion along our marshes and wetlands. And in inland waters they serve a purpose too. They make habbitates for smaller fish to hide while they are growing.

- What really kill's me is they give SS benefits a raise, but literally say screw the Veterans! Seabee79, I couldn't agree with you more! The whole damn Congress and I'd say start at the top, Ie with the President could use a pay cut. They are like Ballplayers! Over paid and under worked.
